Hello, and welcome to Mrs. Evers's 5th grade classroom website! My name is Abigail (Abby) Evers, and I am a first-year teacher this year, and I am so excited to begin my career with North Ridge Elementary! I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in April of 2023 with a degree in Elementary Education. I student taught in grades ranging from 2nd-6th grade.

 

Education has always been an important part of my life, and I've known that teaching was what I was meant to do since I was in 2nd grade. I believe that all children are capable of learning, and my goal is to help them reach their individual goals while having fun along the way. 

 

I will be taking a child-centered learning approach with the students. I want them to enjoy what they are learning, while also fostering a love for reading independently. I cannot wait to meet everyone and learn so many new things with this wonderful group of students!
