On Thursday, November 7, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce held its annual Celebrate Awards Ceremony where they recognized Frenship ISD, Lubbock ISD, and Lubbock-Cooper ISD as their Business of the Year recipients.
This week, Frenship ISD and Lubbock-Cooper ISD elementary and middle students competed in the annual joint Academic UIL Invitational as hundreds of students put their knowledge to the test.
Registered voters in Frenship ISD approved all three Frenship propositions on the November 5, 2024, election, showing their support for salary increases for Frenship teachers and staff, the construction of two new elementary schools, and other projects that address growth as we continue to see an increase in student enrollment.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 11.44% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $77.70.
