Welcome to North Ridge, 

My name is Amy Chumbley and this will be my 1st year as a Frenship Tiger and I am beyond excited to begin my 19th year of teaching here as part of the North Ridge Family! My husband Cody and I both met at Lubbock Christian University where I graduated with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 2004. I have since been teaching both Prekindergarten (10 years) and Kindergarten (8 years). My passion has always been working with the youngest learners and helping to build a strong foundation in early literacy skills! My husband Cody and I have been married for almost 19 years and we have 2 boys...Caden will be a junior at Frenship HS and Keaton will be in 8th Grade at the new Alcove Trails Middle School. We also have a furbaby named Max who is an important member of the Chumbley Family as well. :-)  When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy singing Karaoke, playing card and board games with my family, and watching my son Caden play soccer. Most recently our family lived in Aledo where I taught Kindergarten for the past 4 years. My husband's job has recently brought us back to the Lubbock area and we could not be more thrilled to be Frenship Tigers. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of growing and learning with my new group of Chumbley's Smarties. (Make sure you join our private class Facebook Page!)
