Students at North Ridge Elementary were afforded a unique opportunity when athletes from Texas Tech University paid them a special visit.

Fourth graders in Mrs. Hearn’s and Mrs. Grothusen’s classes at North Ridge Elementary came together for a cross-curricular lesson.

Red Ribbon Week was celebrated across the campuses of FISD last week encouraging students to be drug free.

Elementary campuses across FISD have looked quite festive in the past few days with an endless variety of decorated pumpkins lining the hallways. Carved, painted and embellished, hundreds of pumpkins have made their way into campus-wide contests with participants playing to win!
