I am thrilled to be part of the North Ridge team as a fifth-grade teacher this school year. In my classroom, students will strengthen their reading and math skills through meaningful practice and support. At the end of each day, my homeroom class will dive into social studies as we explore the world around us. 

 

I’m a proud graduate of the Tech Teach Program at Texas Tech University, and I’m passionate about creating a learning environment that nurtures both academic growth and personal development. Outside of teaching, I love to explore new places and spend time with my family. At home, I share my space with my sweet cat, Keeli, who keeps life interesting and in my free time I absolutely love to paint and read. These simple joys help me stay grounded and bring creativity into all areas of my life. 

 

Just as creativity enriches my own life, I strive to help my students find joy in discovering their passions and using their imagination as a tool for learning. My goal is to inspire a growth mindset in every student - one where they see challenges as opportunities, take ownership of their learning, and grow both academically and personally. I encourage my students to be curious, responsible, and proud of their progress as they prepare for success inside and outside the classroom. I am confident this year will be filled with growth, meaningful experiences, and lasting memories for all of us!
