My name is Erica Nicole Hearn.  However, I go by Nikki.  I am from Clovis, New Mexico.  I am a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University with a BA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and a master's degree in Reading Instruction.  I teach Reading, Language Arts, Writing, and Social Studies (Texas History) here at North Ridge.  Reading is my favorite thing to teach!

On a personal note, I am married to Mr. Hearn who teaches Fifth grade math.  I have one child who is a lab mix with fur and a waggly tail!  His name is Jasper, and he can be a mess!  I enjoy reading, coffee, and spending time relaxing.  I am looking forward to a new year and learning with new things together.  GO TIGERS!
