North Ridge Student Leader Gives Back to Fellow Classmate

The Frenship Way: smile, engage, respect, volunteer and encourage. District-wide, students are encouraged to practice The Frenship Way. North Ridge Elementary Student Council President, Atlas Jones, displayed every piece of The Frenship Way by a simple but selfless act.

A fundraiser at the campus has resulted in fun for all students, as every item sold results in a toy called "coops." Classmates who have received these incentives have started trading them for ones they may not have already collected and have created games to play with these new toys.

When Atlas noticed a younger student did not have any "coops" to participate in the fun with, he chose to be a great leader and give his collection to the student without any.

The younger student was shocked and surprised, but so happy to be able to join his friends in the fun. It was rewarding for both students and a great example of practicing The Frenship Way.
