Did you know you can eat a solid, liquid, and gas all in one bite? North Ridge Elementary second graders were able to make this connection by tasting the three states of matter in a root beer float.

 

Mrs. Sharp's science class were able to witness what happens when you mix a liquid (root beer), with a solid (ice cream), which then releases a gas (bubbles). 

 

What a yummy day of science!
