Due to potentially hazardous driving conditions, Frenship ISD is canceling school for Friday, January 23. We understand this may cause an inconvenience for our families and their schedules, but the safety of our students is a top priority, and we believe canceling is the most responsible course of action given the uncertainty of when the inclement weather will begin.
Frenship ISD is seeking feedback on two draft academic calendars for the 2026–2027 school year. Families are encouraged to review the drafts, explore the comparison chart, and complete the survey by January 29 at noon.

FRENSHIP ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEARS TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY -4.227% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $10.15
